The Basics of My Online Dating Adventures!

I've had some interesting experiences with online dating and it has truly been an adventure in how many fools can I find online. LOL! In future posts, I will share more but for now I will just introduce my experiences. I like to call me dating posts, "Dating According to Tiki!"

You may ask why am I finding guys online. Well, I don't go out much. I am a hermit and I don't club or go to the other places where most people meet. Honestly, I've never liked meeting men in a club because to me it seems they only have one thing in mind. You know what I'm talking about...

Stepping Out On Faith...Making Blogging My Focus

I've said so many times on Grow It Girl, "Blogging is something you do because you love it, not to make money." I love having my blogs but I realized that I was not able to dedicate as much time to them as I would've liked. I was working crazy hours at a job that I hated. Now, I am no longer working there and I feel that a weight has been lifted, literally. I can't explain the feeling but we won't go too far into that experience.

I hope everyone a relaxing holiday. If you have the day, enjoy the day and remember the poor souls who are working today. I don't have any major plans for the day. If you need me, I will be doing a little blog work and washing my hair. Thrilling!!!

To Vlog or Not To Vlog?

I have been wrestling with this for a while now. I was supposed to join a vlog everyday in Aug challenge but I chickened out. I have a ton on my plate but that isn't the reason for my hesitation. I wonder how much of my personal life should I share. Would anyone even watch or read my posts?

My Hot Weekend...Not!

I was chatting with a friend earlier and she complained about not having a life. Now she is in her 50's with two jobs. She told us the next time she says something about adding a 2nd or 3rd job to kick her butt. I reminded her that she wasn't the only person in the house on a Saturday night.

Bad Liars

I recently joined a video tag with a blogging friend and I thought it was a great idea to network and meet new bloggers. I just watched the first two videos. The first was by the blogging friend. It was a great video that made me laugh. I learned some new things about her and it felt genuine.

Now, that second video. *sigh* It was from the co-organizer. Bless her heart. At the end of the video, she was supposed to tag the next person. OK, the next person was me. She said the right name but posted the wrong name in the sidebar dialogue. Then to top it off, balled up her face when trying to describe what my blog was about.

Blog Change

I've decided to change things up a bit. I started this blog to talk about dating, share giveaways, and talk about current events. I've decided to pull giveaways and reviews from this site. I will create another site in the near future dedicated to giveaways and reviews.

However, this site will become my personal journal. So, if you want to read about my dating mishaps, situations I find myself in, and overall about me as a person and what's on my mind, this is the place for you.

I will talk about my views on articles I find online and current events but this is more of place for me to just chat and vent. I'm sure I am not the only person that has some of the things I go through happen.

I'm sure it will give others a good lol.

Ambien and Tiki Don't Mix...

I met a guy yesterday and we chatted a bit last night on the phone and by text. He said he would call me when he got off this am and I said ok. I took some Ambien and went to bed. I thought nothing of it. I started taking them again about a week or so ago.
